Prospect Road Improvement Project will be starting August 14th.

UPDATED  2024 ROADS PROJECTS OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

Prospect Road Improvement Project will be starting August 14th.

The Town has decided to add the removal and replacement of Prospect (the short stretch from Homestead north to the east end of Wagontrail) to this year’s 2024 Roads Program. The removal and replacement of Prospect is a project included in the Town’s overall long-term Program.  It was decided to include this small project to this year’s scope as the Town currently has a contractor in town completing work with all the required equipment thus eliminating various costs associated with the mobilization for such a small project.   The project will begin on Wednesday, August 14th, in addition to the work on Sombrero.  The project duration is estimated to take ten (10) calendar days, completing approx. Friday, August 23rd for both Sombrero and Prospect.

NOTE: the contractor (New West Paving) will be directly notifying the residents on Prospect as to exact start/completion dates.

Prospect will remain “open” to local residents only and home deliveries/mail/garbage pickup/etc. should not be affected.  Through traffic on Prospect between Homestead and Wagontrail will not be permitted during this project when active work is in progress.
